PCU supports Portadown Cares

This past week, local charity Portadown Cares filled a number of school bags with brand new books, folders and stationery for young people and offered these out FREE of charge, to individuals who needed some help this back to school period. After posting this message, they were inundated with further appeals. They have spent the past week shopping and packing bags to give out to the local community.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank every single volunteer who helped support over 200 young people and their families.

After seeing the amazing work of Portadown Cares and their volunteers, Portadown Credit Union wanted to lend a hand and donate much needed backpacks to the cause.
