PCU sponsors The Lemons FC

Portadown Credit Union is proud to sponsor local football club The Lemons FC.

The club was established in November 2022 by then, a group of teenagers who wanted to create a team that would help promote men’s mental health. As of May 2025, they have been promoted to division one and recently won the Kieran O Toole cup.

Since their formation, they have fundraised locally to buy their football skip and basic training equipment. For the upcoming 25/26 season, they plan to provide all players with new training tops and kit bags. Appreciating the significant impact this football club has within the local community, Portadown Credit Union has proudly sponsored the team’s kit bags.

In addition to being a football club, they are deeply involved with the local mental health charity “Just a Chat,” which is featured on their kits and delivers workshops for young men in the area. We wish them all the very best for their upcoming season.
