Local Man Skydives for Pips Charity

Portadown Credit Union is proud to support local man Jim Smyth in his incredible fundraising efforts for PIPS. As part of his campaign, Jim will be taking on the thrilling challenge of skydiving from an incredible 15,000 feet to help raise funds and awareness for the vital work carried out by the charity.

PIPS provides life-saving crisis intervention, counselling, and therapeutic support to individuals who are struggling with their mental health or experiencing thoughts of suicide. They also offer compassionate support to families and individuals bereaved by suicide. One of the most important aspects of the organisation is its open-door approach, ensuring that those in need can access help immediately, without facing long waiting lists or delays. Their services continue to make a profound difference within communities across Northern Ireland.

Fundraising initiatives such as Jim’s skydive play an important role in helping PIPS continue to deliver these essential services and support those who need it most.
