Portadown Credit Union are seeking to appoint a Temporary* Full-time Teller.

Reporting to: Management

Main Purpose of the Job: To maintain an effective and efficient member service to Credit Union members.

Main Duties:

• To act as a Teller and to service members across multiple channels including counter, telephone and online
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of member transactions
• Processing and paying out share withdrawals and Secured Loans
• To have excellent knowledge of all products and services provided by Portadown Credit Union and to advise members of these
• To work within a performance management culture
• To work effectively as part of a team
• To reconcile cash float on a daily basis
• To open new accounts when required
• To attend training programmes and workshops as required by the credit union.
• To be aware of and comply with all Human Resources, Health & Safety regulations as directed by the credit union.
• To remain compliant with all credit union policies and procedures.
• The company reserves the right to vary or amend the duties and responsibilities of the post holder at any time according to the needs of the company business.

Working Hours:

• Tuesday- 9am- 5.30pm
• Wednesday- 9am- 5.30pm
• Thursday- 9am- 6pm
• Friday- 9am- 6pm
• Saturday- 9am- 1.30pm

*This position is for a minimum term of 6 months with the possibility of extension.
